coachella for kids

Ruby is so excited about coachella and not just to see DJ Lance Rock from YoGabbaGabba but for her outfits. Here are some of the things in her suitcase she'll be wearing to the show. She (and me) are inspired by Stella McCartney from Gap's newest Spring collection. Check out the headphones she'll be rocking out with while listening to her uncle's band (Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zero's). See you at the show!

yummy!

this is the greatest jar to keep in your pantry for a quick or last minute dinner. all you add is chicken and that's it!! i suggest serving over a bed of rice, a spoonful of sour cream and some sprigs of cilantro. It's so easy and so yummy. you can find the starter jars at www.williamsonoma.com

Ingredients:
2 Tbs. vegetable oil
1 to 1 1/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 jar (32 oz.) white chili starter
Tortilla chips for serving
Chopped fresh cilantro for serving
Sour cream for serving
Directions:
In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Working in 2 batches, brown the chicken, 4 to 5 minutes per batch.

Return all the chicken to the pot and reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the white chili starter and stir to scrape up the browned bits from the pan bottom. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Ladle the chili into warmed bowls and serve with tortilla chips, cilantro and sour cream. Serves 6.

my dream car

I have always dreamed of driving this car. Maybe I'll buy it for myself when I turn 40, which is realllyyyy far away. So I know I have time to find the perfect one. I love day dreaming.
