tim recently worked on an amazing record for a band called "dead man's bones" and the whole project has been an artistic collaboration with true artists. he made a comment one night that he "was so happy to go to work every day because he was working with such inspiring and creative guys". isn't that what you hope and pray for in a project, i know i do. the record is fantastic and i'm not just saying that. it's creative, emotional, fun and i hate to say it but it's catchy. they recorded a kids choir (silverlake conservatory of music) for a few of the songs and i don't know if anyone realized what an amazing experience it was going to be, well i guess dmb did because they came up with the idea. after a few weeks of working together on recording, the band threw the kids a little party/thank you/album cover shoot and video. the kids looked incredible in all the costumes & make-up. thanks to the band and their amazing friends and family because it was the nicest/coolest thing i've seen in a long time and such a thoughtful gesture. the kids really enjoyed the bouncy castle, taco truck and all the sweets they provided. plus all the parents of these kids were so nice and i think they had just as much fun hanging out with everyone or for the free baby sitting. i would have loved to post some more pictures of the kids & band but i don't want to spoil it (you'll have to buy the album to see it). here are a few of tim & ruby from the shoot. what a nice day...thanks to zach, rg and tron for being such great new friends and being so amazing to our family!! ruby is one lucky baby and we adore you guys.
